Istanbul, Turkey

So we all know that I am all for cheap travel. But every now and then you have to treat yourself to a slightly more expensive location just because you deserve.

Well, for that more expensive trip I propose Turkey.
Not the food best served in November with a side of dressing and gravy. But the country that is comfortably nestled in between the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea.

And here comes the big surprise that I never talk about.

The History.

The nation that we know as Turkey has not always been that. That piece of land has been taken over countless times and after hundreds of years of restlessness, they settled on Turkey.

Now, this vast history of Turkey has left a very interesting feel regarding the architecture of the capital, Istanbul. They have art and style that mimics a variety of different cultures from history.
So now that I said my piece about the history we can get the part about the trip being a little more expensive than I usually talk about.

To be able to experience the full magnificence of Istanbul you have to stay on or in sight of the water.

Well, I found the perfect place. It is a one-bed apartment that isn’t on the river but it is high enough to where you can see the water and the other bank. It has a living room, kitchen, bedroom, and an absolutely stunning terrace.

It is perfect and I really feel like I need to be there. Like right now. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/17194571?location=Istanbul%2C%20Turkey&s=qZFEB3D_
