In a one week trip, you can visit a booming and bustling city as well as the rolling hills that make-up my favorite scenes from the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

Here is my idea. You rent a room on the northern part of the island and travel only a short distance to the magnificent film sets. One day, you take the guided tours of the Lord of the Rings sets. The next day, you walk out of the back door of your Airbnb house and directly onto the white sand beaches for a day of sheer relaxation!
This one bedroom, one bath isolated cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway or a lone traveler looking for unforgettable sunrises.
